Symposium of the German-Croatian Jurist Association in Zagreb on 29 September 2017
The symposium was held on 29 September 2017 on the premises of the Croatian law firm BRADVICA MARIĆ WAHL CESAREC d.o.o.
Following the welcoming address of Dr. Zoran Domić, the judge of the Commercial Court of Zagreb, Ms Jasna Golubić, delivered a presentation on actual issues from the Croatian insolvency law describing in detail the actual decisions from the Croatian case law. Subsequently, the lawyer and notary public from Berlin, Ms Dana Peić-Thiel presented new regulations in inheritance law and their effects on German-Croatian inheritance cases. Finally, the attorney, Ms Monika Herrmann from Rosenheim reported about the fundamental values of the European law and their significance in the daily practice of a lawyer in Croatia and Germany. After each presentation, a stimulating discussion took place.
As before, this year too most of the participants of the Symposium met at dinner in a Zagreb restaurant.
